Many people find Geodon helpful, it seems. I gave it a good try. It did something weird with my sleep, unfortunately. I was dead tired all day and wide awake at night. That was unusual for me and presented a whole new problem. *sigh*

Okay. So. It seems the small dose of perphenazine has enabled me to have a less anxious day. A HUGE success.

It was a miracle when I went in patient after my last child was born and k went of my bipolar meds and had post pardum depression. But I had an old school doc I’d been seeing (21 years until she retired 2 years ago) and she just left me on it. It saved my life until last April I developed TD. Weaning off of it was so awful. Antipsychotics have their place and some people do need them forever but a TD assessment should have been done to see if my slowly progressing muscle movements were problematic. So I guess I’m just saying pay attention to your body.

Stop cogentin, she will not refill it. Reduce Pristiq while increasing Zoloft. In a week stop the Pristiq entirely. Next month "we" will discuss stopping the Wellbutrin. No more antipsychotics. Keep taking Lamictal. Keep taking Klonopin. That's all I can remember.

Yep! I swear that the woman is crazy. I'm stuck with her for now because there are no other options with my health plan. Supposedly a new pdoc will be starting at the clinic soon. *Fingers crossed*

Thank you Mm. I don't have a PCP. I do have a GP, but she won't prescribe psych meds unless it's truly an emergency.

Yes, I've been on all the SSRI's at some time or another. Zoloft was helpful for me, so was Celexa. When I was younger the SSRI's were truly a miracle. My hope is that they'll still work for me.

So I'm supposed to take 50mg of Zoloft every night for a week, then go up to 100mg. So far I haven't noticed much except that I feel queasy all day. I hope it subsides soon.

I think the queasiness is from so many meds being changed by my pdoc weirdo.

No more Pristiq (AD), no more AP. Soon no more Wellbutrin. I took the first 100mg. of Zoloft last night. I don't feel any different (still extremely anxious), but I know I do have to give the Zoloft a few days to kick in - if it does.

Second or third day of taking Zoloft. It may be helping with depression a bit, but not doing a thing for the anxiety.
