Yeah, it does suck being "locked up" in your house. It really is akin to prison sometimes.

I don't know what part of California you live in, but is it possible to go outside at all? I'm not saying go out to the store or hang out with people, but I mean just like a quick walk or even just sitting outside and breathing fresh air.

If you're in an apartment and have a balcony, can you sit outside on your balcony for a bit? You can even read on your balcony if that helps.

Got everything on my list except powered milk and pumpernickel bread. Had to buy white bread that was all they had. Bought somethings not on the list too so we are fine for a minimum of two weeks and probably longer. It's just the milk and fresh fruits and vegetables we'll be out of. Got frozen vegetables and canned fruit so only the milk will be needed.

So we're set for a nother couple of weeks. This time it will be officially lock down. The first two weeks was just us being cautious, mum is high risk.

Thank you, blue. I don't have a balcony but there is a nice sunny spot that overlooks a field that is blooming with wildflowers. I just need to take my chair out there, no big deal. And reading out there is a great idea! I've been reading in bed, which gets...depressing.

Thank you, truly, for your encouragement

You're welcome.

It's always good to change up your environment whenever you can. Being "stuck" in an environment is much like being "stuck" in a bad mental state: you don't want to make yourself even more miserable if you can avoid it.

Personally, I can't really go anywhere besides my balcony and in different rooms of my apartment. It's all concrete outside, so there's really no place to sit. Also, even if I did drive to the park, the ground still has some snow on it and is probably really wet, just like benches will likely be.

But yeah, I've been sitting in different areas of my apartment lately to try to change things up. For example, one day, I stay in the kitchen. Another day is the living room. The day after that is my office. And the day after that is my bedroom. It's the best I can do with what I've got.

Your comment about being "stuck" is so true.

I'm going to sit in that sunny spot today. I'm desperate for some sun. The spot is close to the front door of a really unfriendly lady, but if she come's out I'll just ignore her.

Living in the snow sounds terribly difficult. It's chilly here, but we are having very bright sun.

Take good care of yourself, blue.
