Me -- I have a lot of things, actually. For example, one time I told my therapist that my butt itched and that it'd been itchy since I started feeling hypomanic. I said I didn't know why, but "does your butt itch randomly too? Or is this a manic thing?"

I tried to merge 6 different laser companies. And almost pulled it off. Completely out of my mind manic the whole time. Apparently, people thought it was a fairly good idea anyway...

Hiding in my closet because I thought the government and police were after me.

accusing my doctor of poisoning me is something that comes up every now and then when I start having delusions

I tore down a 7ish foot stretch of wall in my home with my bare feet... My incredible father and younger brother helped me to rebuild, but I am embarrassed about it still. I was hallucinating and my child was disappearing before my eyes and I was trying to get to him to 'save him'. Angry mama bear apparently has the strength of a thousand super heroes. My husband knew it was time to call 911 when this started. It took a lot of force to get me into the abulance and to the hospital. It is incredibly important for me to recognize mania and psychosis as soon as possible. I was completely out of my mind.

I've said some cruel things to loved ones. I'm so ashamed of that.

I guess the worst thing I've done is tear apart a public art display. I thought it was ugly and cheap looking. So I went there at night, it was late summer and really hot, in a terrible rage and tore it apart. The parts I could lift I threw in garbage cans. The thing was made of wood and plastic, some fabric. So it wasn't very heavy.

Thank the universe no one saw me or I probably would have been arrested. But people in the community were pretty upset. The mania lasted for weeks. Eventually I ended up IP.

An awful time, seriously shameful. I have to admit though...I still think that "art" thing was so ugly.

I thought I was etherial (could walk through walls and solid objects) and promptly walked straight through a locked plate glass emergency door at a coffee shop. I was on my lunch hour from work. I never made it back to work for almost 8 weeks. The ambulance ride to the hospital was interesting. Thank goodness for my Peer Support Person I was meeting for lunch. She called my psychiatrist from the emergency room. When the ER was done with my injuries they transferred me to the hospital where my psychiatrist is Director. It was a very long admission.

Poured red paint in my hair and decided to run through the woods barefoot in the snow. Yeah, not too long before the police found me and were insisting that the red paint was blood.
