I am. That's Napa county, which has no recorded cases yet. We're just ahead of the curve.

All the counties around the San Francisco Bay region are under shelter-in-place orders.

I have no official "order" here, But our governor is pushing hard for people to go home and stay home, social distancing and pleading with young adults to realize they MUST take this pandemic seriously.

I think there will be a direct order soon.

No. Here( Minnesota) it's just the closing of dinning rooms and hair dressers and city hall, and libraries. A broad social distancing message but not lockdown.

We’re practicing social distance and everyone who has symptoms is asked to self-isolate as well as those who have travelled, those who have the virus and those who’ve been in contact with them. Hopefully it will be enough to flatten the curve. Schools and nonessential services have also been suspended.

UK isn't on lockdown. Our Prime Minister is determined we will not be on lockdown but says if you can have no contact with people then great. He is saying though not to visit pub, clubs etc. All leisure centres/swimming pools/cinemas/health care provisions (GP surgeries) are closed. The main hospital is not allowing visitors. The other hospital is now transformed into something out of a movie which will hold people affected by the virus. My volunteering ended this morning I volunteer in a mental health day centre. My therapist is over the phone as is my whole mental health team. Shops are scarcely opened. Supermarkets are limiting people in at a time to stop panic buying.

Shelter-in-place isn't required here yet, but schools, libraries, banks, restaurants, parks, etc. have closed, so in effect it is nearing isolation. The local hospital system that provides most of the healthcare system has started cancelling elective surgeries, procedures and clinic visits that can be rescheduled for a later date.

The Governor recommended cancellation of events hosting more than 10 people in high risk populations or don't have stable housing unless a distance of at least 3 ft can be maintained. The 12-step meetings I go to now have far fewer people.
A high proportion of individuals at these meetings fit into the high risk population. No one has been diagnosed with COVID-19 in the county where I am, but there is a big shortage of testing. Only 2,500 people in the entire state have been tested so far!

I have in effect been sheltering in place and I am very grateful for this Forum!

We are still not on shelter in place. Our govenor seems to have planned out a few things closing day to day and we think he probably has a threshold of cases where he will order it. He has shut down so much that shelter in place is inevitable, I'd guess within a week.

The thought makes me extremely anxious. Getting out once a day to the park with the dogs is getting me through this. Walking in the yard won't be the same. But we'll manage.

My State has all the closings, social distancing, pleading with young people to take this serious and everyone just stay home unless you absolutely must go out for work or food.. They will Lock it down soon though and I truly think it must happen.

I am lucky that I live way out in the middle of no where and have land to wander around. My husband and will not be chomping at the bit we are homebodies anyway, We did swing by and trade out the portable oxygen tanks for full ones earlier this week. We also have the concentrater.. But I worry if our power goes out for some reason..

Stressful time but I think we all should practice self care, becareful and not panic.. we will weather this storm

It is not official, but the governor is making a statement tomorrow at noon that I believe will be the official lockdown. My state has around 900 cases, which is expected to rise dramatically as testing becomes more readily available. I saw an estimated curve today, don’t know how true it is, that puts our peak in JUNE before it flattens out in July/august.

I am able to work remotely, but I believe RS will be considered essential personnel because he is responsible for maintaining a housing community. If he is not, and gets laid off, I don’t know what we will do. We cannot live on my salary. He will hopefully be able to get unemployment but the state website crashes every day due to the sheer amount of people applying. This is a nightmare.

wildflowerchild, you said it - a nightmare. The horror of it is that I don't think we've seen anything approaching the peak yet. The stress of it all is definitely not what people living with mental illness need.

The National Guard here is working to get food to people. The police force is citing, or even pulling business licenses, of businesses that have not shut down as directed to.

I just did a "curbside pick-up" to get med refills...everyone is so stressed, all trying to cooperate, but.

It's 5:30, a beautiful, sunny evening and I'm going to lie down just to hide away.

My state had its first death. There's only 100+ confirmed but with more testing I bet that would skyrocket. Our governor is contemplating a shelter in place move and I think it would be a good move. I wish they'd buy hotels or start building tent hospitals like some states are doing cause it's coming. People are already infected they just aren't showing symptoms yet. You just have to watch the progress of the virus it's inevitable. All we can do is try to slow it. We've been in for almost a week now cause I'm trying to protect my 92 yr old mum.

Our Governor ( Pennsylvania) wants everyone home except for essentials like groceries and medicine. I live on the west side of the state, my daughter and her husband live on the east end of the state. They are in lockdown, Montgomery County. Here in Allegheny County, as far as I know, we aren't in official lockdown yet.

I'm afraid of becoming unstrung. Something goes haywire when people have become like robots, when the very few I might see have to be at a distance and no one smiles because everyone is tense. The only place besides hospitals that are open are half-empty shelves grocery stores and gas stations. And laundromats. Even the big department stores are closed. I cannot see doing phone therapy with my therapist for several months; it seems ridiculous. There are just long, empty days of nothing. I was scheduled for surgery (achilles tendon); very much doubt that will happen, so in constant pain.

WTF with our government?! An enormous nation like the US entirely unprepared for an emergency like this. It's a horror show!

My household has been on voluntary lock down for 9 days already. It seems like a long time in one way, and not so long in another.
I think it is helpful to see family via Skype and similar platforms.

We had gotten some groceries initially, maybe 4 weeks worth. We had missed some things and finished up via Amazon and Walmart.com

My pharmacy delivers not only meds, but also anything in stock one may want/order.
(If you have a CVS near you, look into their program that offers free home delivery and gives benefits on CVS.com)

Love to All!

You are so kind, WC. Yes...this forum is a lifeline.

My pharmacy is a little local one (125 years old!). They're terrific, really attentive, but overwhelmed. Supposed to deliver my meds tomorrow (free delivery at this time). I hope they really do, just because of the numbers of people they're dealing with.

As of Tuesday morning, yes.

I had almost all of the symptoms of the virus and am a healthcare worker so was sent to get tested. I still don't have the results and am under quarantine.

I got better, but unfortunately, am, as of this morning, back to body ache and a low-grade fever. I've read a lot about people briefly getting better and then getting sick again, so I'm worried.

There was another thread about this, but I suggest to anyone and everyone that you get exercise every day: I've been taking long walks, just around my apartment complex, every day with a friend on the phone. It's raining today, so I was going to do a home exercise program, though I don't know if I'll feel well enough. But the point is, exercise helps SO much both physically and emotionally.

Stay safe and good luck to everyone!
