I've really done well in getting my diabetes under control. I'm particularly proud of that. All diet control really.

I think that's a question deserving asking twice.

We DO focus heavily on illness, let's focus on wellness. How are you particularly healthy or what do you do to maintain your health?

I try to eat fairly healthily and I (mostly) do a lot of aerobic exercise, I guess.

Do you like animated movies?

Ones like Coraline, Corpse Bride etc, yes. Kid-oriented, no indeed.

Have you ever (or currently) been vegetarian?

I have surfed - having grown up on a large, well-known body of water which I now miss dearly

Have you ever gone to a strange place on vacation (by strange I mean someplace most people wouldn't think to vacation at)

Went to Bangkok in the summer one year. That wasn't very smart.

Where do you get your news?

Yes- I was arrested for trespassing when I was 18 - LOL. I was so stupid and the charge was so stupid - it was a $100 fine

Did you enjoy going to school as a child?
Thanks for this!

when I wasn't in hospital, I suppose it was okay. I didn't " love" it, and I didn't " hate" it. I liked history and geography, I hated science and math. their was good and bad bits.

I didn't like school dinners though: now they were gross.

what is one thing that you miss from childhood?

I am such a sore loser when it comes to board games. if I see I'm losing I'll have a right tantrum about it. I'll still play to the end, but that person is not in my good books if they beat me

I'm worse for it at monopoly. I'm not a good monopoly player, still: I lose and you all know about it

Coconut milk. I'm sorry, but I truly dislike those milk substitutes. Coconut milk is a different kind of animal, though. Great in Thai or Indian food. But if I had to choose one of those others, I'd say "cashew milk", but not consumed straight. I'm referring to it being used as part of a lactose free ice cream.

Q: What was the last country's cuisine that you ate for the very first time?
Thanks for this!

Sushi and I have a rule. I will try every type of sushi. My favorite so far is unagi, which is eel. But I love anything spicy.

What is the most elaborate (your definition) food that you have ever tried?
Thanks for this!
