I've been having to cut my med doses in half because of my pharmacy giving me prescription problems. Long story short, I had issues getting my Rx's filled because of my pharmacy saying I had "no refills" even though I did, and now that they've realized their f*** up, I have to wait for the Rx's to come in because they're out of stock. So, I have been cutting my doses in half since Friday morning.

I think my mood has shifted, but I don't know. I'm normally hesitant to call anything a "mood swing" without waiting a couple of days to see where things go. So, the shifting could be a coincidence, or it could be partial withdrawal. I don't know. What is your experience with partial or full withdrawal?

I think it depends a lot on the meds. Which meds are you having to reduce at the moment?

I don't personally have experience with Trileptal and Zoloft, so I can't comment much on those. With Lamictal I don't think there should be withdrawal symptoms as such. That is, to the best of my knowledge you can quit it cold turkey without health risks. However, while there aren't any withdrawal symptoms, your mood symptoms could start to worsen as soon as you stop, or within days as the med leaves your body. Also, with Lamictal I believe that if you're at a lower dose for a while, then you need to build the dose back up slowly, which is very unfortunate. With Zoloft, as it is an SSRI, you might experience antidepressant withdrawal syndrome.

Dunno about Zoloft or Trileptal. Lamictal should not cause withdrawal, as noted. Also quite unlikely to become symptomatic right away, but if you extended for months, that becomes different. Hugs.
