I slept most of the day because I just felt like crap. I only got up for meetings. Not knowing what is wrong health wise and it feels like we are not doing anything about it because no one knows. They lowered my clozapine because they thought that might be making me tired. But now I have trouble falling asleep. I have been using klonopin to try and help. My anxiety is so bad my pdoc gave me permission to double my klonopin. They have taken away or lowered my psych meds so now depression is roaring back. I was in tears today because of all the unknowns. I wish there was a crystal ball to tell me what is wrong. All my doctor keeps saying when we get labs back is “at least we know it is not just all in your head”.

Oh, Crook I am so, so sorry you're having to go through such a hellish time.

The psych med situation is not acceptable. Is your pdoc entirely aware of the desperation of your situation, and of how depressed you are?

We are all with you, Crook. Praying for you. If your depression persists, I recommend looking at ketamine. Hugs.

Can’t do ketamine while on Lamictal.

Lamictal is a depression drug. Right? Right. It is. So, as said elsewhere, I, myself, would stop the lamictal and do ketamine. It should work.

Lamictal was evil for me. It enhanced mixed episodes. Are you able to go on an FMLA leave? I know you eventually want to stop working and go on disability but this would preserve your job for a bit while decide whether that is best for you.

I haven't taken Lamictal. A couple of people have suggested it to me. (I'm worried about the rash although I know not everyone gets it)

Dr thinks my other problems are resolving on their own. Have to wait two months to do more blood tests to check my heart. She thinks my depression is our most pressing issue. She asked if I needed to go to the hospital. I do but I can’t right now. I just have problems staying awake. It is a repeat of March. I see my pdoc Friday. My dr was worried if I could make it until then. But she doesn’t want to step on my pdocs toes.

I have problems staying awake, too, but it's from meds. Is the difficulty with staying awake the main problem you're having (besides depression)?

I think it's a positive that your depression is being given priority.

What in need to do is stop all meds and start over. That requires the hospital though and I don’t want to do that. My medical dr today said she wants me to try TMS. She is trying to get a hold of my pdoc to come up with a plan. She says I need a T because the one I have doesn’t have enough experience for me.

I would consider Provigil or Adderall if I were fatigued. Either works in low doses for me. Why suffer if there is a simple solution? Never understood that. Hugs!

But the stimulants can cause anxiety, can't they?
