My husband is in bed snoring loudly. It's 12:40 pm and he hasn't yet had lunch. I can never sleep during the daytime.

Thankfully, rain! Though Czech Republic has had a drought, it's not nearly as bad as in some other European countries. Some of the pictures of rivers and reservoirs in those countries are so hard to look at. And it's not just little rainfall this summer, but even lack of snow to melt from last winter/spring. Global warming exists!

Laughing at my own laughing, thinking about the funny situation we were in earlier today. Czechs are so darned serious, all but my husband to a good degree. Especially Czechs in public. It becomes obvious that I'm a foreigner even without me saying an actual word.

Shostakovich's 7th Symphony. Classical music is not a usual interest of mine, but I fell asleep last night with this playing in the background and wanted to revisit it while I was awake. I'm quite happy I did!
