Hi... so yes, I'd like to know what you guys do aside from being bipolar 24/7. This topic comes from my recent decision to stop studying for the public administration in my area and finally ask for my disability recognition and some adapted job. I don't know how this is gonna end, but my last crisis really made me see things differently, even lose hope or become more realistic - depends how you wanna see it.
I have much time in my hands now and I don't know how better manage it. I don't study anymore, so I just buy groceries or learn how to cook at the present moment. Are you guys good making friends? I am not. I do take care of my children when they are with me (my wife divorced me some 5 years ago) and I'm planning some holidays for them near the beach. My mother will accompany us, both to enjoy the fun with her grandchildren and to keep an eye their dad. I practice taichi and would like to start hiking when I land a stable job again, fingers crossed... On a different note, cultivating some spirituality has been good. I remember meeting an OCD diagnosed guy whose phobias only dissipated while praying or listening to the Pope...I guess certain things can turn off your problems for a while and make you tune into something that you deem more meaningful. Do you also experience it this way? I'm not a big fan of main religions myself, but little things like holding a crystal stone or setting the mood for sleep at night with the right essential oil proves helpful in managing stress at the end of the day. Nothing more. I'm still trying to figure out what works best for me and earn a place of existence in this turning world. Maybe you have managed to keep all in order at this point of life - is that your case? Greetings from Spain. May this message reach you well and happy. See ya.

I deffenetly don't have it all sorted
I'm in my nid 20's, unable to work, basically no support network and no motivation in life. like.. when someone asks me where do you see yourself in 10 years time? I simply don't know and usually respond with, " I don't care." because that's the sad truth. I don't. |

Spain's hot, very hot, I should move to Sweden XD. Mid 20's? You're still young then vortex; I'm sorry to hear about your lack of hope or direction, but my best wishes for you, cose I've also been there deep in the swamp and still carry much mud in my shoes myself to this day. Things will improve though, they should. It's hard to make real friends for me; only happened twice in my life and they're gone now, but as we say in Spain, third time beats them all. See ya, take care.

I'm not sure I've ever heard that- third time beats them all, but in the UK (where I am), we do say something like it- third time lucky |

Welcome!
Maybe you'll find a part of your support network here. Do you have therapy in Spain or is it just meds? I've heard for some people support groups are sometimes more helpful than therapy (especially maybe in some parts of Europe) For me, spirituality is helpful ![]()
