Has anyone delt with them what is it like if they decide you have to go to the hospital do you get to pick what one?

I was 8 minutes late to evaluation. So I have to come tomorrow morning at 9 am. I'm so afraid they'll keep me. But I need sleep and food.

I don’t know if you will hear this as reassuring or take it as a challenge but in the ten yrs you’ve been on msf and have been afraid of ip you haven’t been ip once. Not once.

I have been hospitalized in the past 10 years 2x it still scares the hell out of me. Even worse now that I'm in a new city. my control issues and paranoia get worse as I get worse. I've been told that it'll be worse if I don't show up to the appointment because they have my address. So hopefully it goes well.

Miguel'smom, not only might a possible hospitalization be helpful in stabilizing you, but it may also provide H with some peace of mind while he struggles to recover from his own current sickness. That's something to consider. If you are sick enough to be hospitalized, he would want that rather than worry even more about you.
There are a lot of important topics you might discuss in hospital therapy (or any therapy). They might include things like your recent move, Miguel leaving the nest, you being more independent, coping skills to remain more stable, and others I may not even know or guess about, etc.

Dx: Bipolar type 1 Psych Medications: * Tegretol XR (carbamazepine ER) 800 mg * Lamictal (lamotrigine) 150 mg * Seroquel XR (quetiapine ER) 500 mg I also take meds for blood pressure, cholesterol, and tachycardia. |

The Dr was awesome but was like WTH was wrong with your last Dr. I'm on latiuda now. I have to eat at least lunch and dinner. She wants to see me in 1-2 weeks or immediately if they wouldn't fill my meds. They took 2 hrs but we got the meds filled. I felt weird on the meds last night and Miguel sat with me until I feel asleep. I woke up starving and slowed down.
