Hey everyone. It has been awhile since I was last here. I have found a combo of meds that have really helped me. Clozapine saved my life but getting blood work done every 4 weeks can be daunting.
I think the biggest thing that helped me was changing jobs and being able to work from home for a couple of years. Just wanted to say hi and I hope everyone can find what works best for them on their journey. It took me years to find what works and I have faith others can too. I am not saying it is perfect. I still have some bad moments but they are less often. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Welcome back.
Eventually the blood draws are so routine you don't even think about it. I've been doing it 7 years and aside from stress from the pharmacy usually losing my labs the first time they are sent it's amazing. I do have to get labs Tuesday; I should have Friday but forgot. No problem though. It truly is an amazing drug. __________________ Bipolar 1, PTSD, GAD, OCD. It's nice to see you again, Crook! I always like to read stories like yours, that give hope to others that bipolar disorder can be managed well. How nice that you found an effective medication and work situation. I imagine that those 4 weeks between blood tests go fast. I remember even with Lithium blood testing it seemed so frequent. I ended up on a first name basis with the phlebotomists where I got them done.
