Corticosteroids and psychiatric side effects! This happened to me. I’m banned from Prednisone now!

5 days of 40 mg per day is all it took to induce hypo/mania! Still picking up the pieces. Sleep erratic still and it’s been since the 11th when I took my last dose!

Yeah I was given a 5 day pack of steroids last year and after 3 on the first day I said no, I'm not doing this. I'm going in for the shot.
Same with presidone. I normally just take 2 before stopping because of the mental health side effects. I hope you feel better soon.
