Hi,

I was dxd with bipolar 2 a long time ago and have been on lamictal.
Recently I had some neuro problems and had an EEG, which showed seizure activity...temporal lobe partial. This kind of seizure is often treated with lamictal.

Does anyone else here have seizures and bipolar? I'm wondering if there is a correlation.

thanks,
terrics

Yes, I do....my seizures started on Zyprexa and Wellbrutrin....as a result I can no longer take them. I do, however, still have seizures... My therapist says she knows several patients who have developed seizures on those two meds...as well as others!

It sucks...!!! I've had about 5 seizures, and each time my dd, 12 years old, has found me on the floor...we live alone...and had to call 911... Talk about side effects...
