Can they be overcome? How can I deal with them? They are fast, sudden, and scary. They are like bad memories that scare me. Is that what a racing thought is like?

Yes, that's what it's like... It's like having a constant battle going on inside your brain, thoughts running here and there, and no matter how much you want to control it, you just can't ;[
I get that most of the time, especially at night time when it's dark and I'm about to sleep. Try listening to soothing music... play something on the CD player or iTunes/iPod to calm your senses. That's what I do. Or I go in the shower and stay in the water for minutes... Like the water's carrying them away from me, lol. Just my two cents. Clandestine |
