{{{{{{{{{Angie}}}}}}}}}}}

You didn't do anything. It's the nature of being bipolar. I go through it a lot - it's very draining emotionally and physically afterwards. I feel like I could sleep for days.

I hope you get some rest and catch up. I haven't found any of my meds that will actually stop it from happening, unfortunately.

I am on Geodon and Lexapro. I can usually feel when the cycling is going to happen, and I try to ward it off by doing things like reading, writing, etc............it helps sometimes to lessen the effects.

Take care of yourself.

Make time for yourself, Angie. If you don't, you won't have the strength in you in case you start cycling again soon.

To be able to sleep at night, I take Trazadone. Works wonderfully well.

Hope your xmas was wonderful for you.

And yes, I love Stephen King, Dean Koontz, etc. - the scarier, the better........lol. Plus I was born on Friday the 13th.......... Hypo-manic

Do you see a pdoc? Mood stabilizers do reduce the manic phase of Bipolar. Some degree of hypmania can be productive, but I know from my own personal experience with it can be a problem and even snowball, so I firmly believe in prevention, and have complied with mood stabilizer use prescribed by my pdoc, after trying different ones, I have been on one and actually I'm in the process of dosage reduction (yay!) so you may want to see a pdoc to help get things in order of some sort.
Take care,
DE
