What do you do to make yourself feel better on one of these tough days? And what do you do when you have that "crawling-out-of-your-skin" sensation? That's a big issue for my wife. Also she thinks lithium is making her clumsy. Ring any bells?

I have found that on those hard days, even though it's hard, I make myself get out and do things. Sometimes the interaction with other people takes the edge off. I haven't been on medication, so I don't know about the lithium, but hopefully someone else does. Good luck!

maybe some side affect of the medication? or some anxiety? i am not sure. i drank lithuim and it did not work for me, but i didn't experience what you have mentioned. i agree with momofboys321, getting out and interacting with others no matter how much you lack the desire to do so is helpful. forcing yourself to go out and do normal day to day things can be very helpful.

Hello jack holden...its nice to meet you!
I have had the same "crawling-out-of-your-skin" sensations that you mentioned and the best thing for me is to force myself to get out of the house and take a walk however hard it may be. Walking for me has been very uplifting even though I have to force myself to do it most of the time lately. Getting on a daily routine will help as well. jamox |
