I took this shot to get help but also to please the thought in my head that says over and over again: "This shot will possibly maim or possibly kill you and it will be a blessing!"

Also when cycling to elevated mood and cycling back down to depressed mood I do semi-risky things sometimes and do them cuz of the thought in my head keeps saying "if it kills you, it will be a blessing"

I am tired of hearing it, over and over again throughout every day. It is very seductive and very frightening at the same time.

glad you have taken the courage to give this shot a chance to help you through this difficult time. we're rooting for you and your hopes of getting better. like micah siad, try not to listen to that voice in your head. not having you here would not be a blessing imho. we care a lot about you!!!

I'm so glad you were had enough strength left to get the shot...but please keep telling yourself and remembering.....THE VOICE IN YOU HEAD IS A LIAR !!!!

Remember also that you are loved and there are those of us who care about you very much.

Did your pdoc tell you about side effects and how to manage this. My grandmother was on prolixin and had to take other meds for the side effects.

Yes he did, Niecy, thank you for asking, and he gave me meds for some of the side-affects and told me what to do for the others (go to ER and/or call him).
Thank you for your concern. Much appreciated. (((((((nicey)))))))
