THis morning as my boyfriend left he told me once again for the thousandth time he is tired of my mood swings, that I am up here and then down here he is depressed because of how I act. I just feel so hopeless I'm in counseling and taking vitamin supliments (can't take medication, nursing mmy son) and I try so hard to be in control of my emotions and feelings but a situation presents it's self and off I go. It affects our family, our kids, and him so much. I just hate myself for being this way I just want to be normal. SO tired of hurting the ones I love most. We can never get through even one week without an argument that lasts for days. I feel so alone and regretful for my words and actions.

Those ups and downs are so hard. I can relate to your sadness and frustration. We just have to keep trying our best....pushing ourselves to be more mindful, less emotionally reactive. It takes time and devotion to actively practice such a different way of life. It is so hard to convince the ones closest to you that things will be diffrent, that this time you are really trying to make a change. We put our significant others through so much as we battle our BPD! Thank you for the kind words and reminders!

It would be so nice for all of you in your family if you and your bf could have some couples therapy. |
