It definitely gives me more compassion and empathy.

If my down moods are down, then my up moods are really up and I can really feel good.

I have a zany sense of humor, kind of barnyard, learned to laugh at my illness.

and I agree with the others that talk about feeling more.

I think there is a need for more emotional people on this earth and people who are not afraid to feel or talk about feelings.

We're dreamers, too.

We do love MUCH, contrary to much otherwise belief---maybe too much!

Just my thoughts.

I appreciate this.

We are so STRONG.

We feel incredible amounts of pain and anger and we are still here, still trying to deal, walking around with emotions equivalent to burned skin everyday getting touched and we do it. We keep going.
Thanks for this!

Wow, this is nice!
I think I am a better parent for being able to feel WITH my kids, and understand where they are, although it does get very intense with all the emotions.

(I also got out of jury duty due to my mental illnesses )

We can sniff out a liar anywhere. We are keen to when people are being truthful and forthcoming or not.
Thanks for this!

finding it very hard to think of anything positive at the moment, but my mother said the other day that we BPD ppl tend to go out of our way to make others feel comfortable and welcome in any situation. I guess that's a plus for the rest of the world...

2.) we forgive

3.) we love alot

4.) passion will never leave us

5.) we have an amazing amount of potential to evolve into better human beings

We're good listeners, sensitive to others' feelings, I notice I have a really good intuition when it comes to meeting people for the first time- even BPD for Dummies says Borderlines, as complicated as we are, are some of the best people you'll ever meet
Our strong emotions, especially passion make us determined
We're intelligent, and outgoing (on good days). Definitely someone you'll never forget
There's a lot of good points about us, I wish people would be more willing to take the time to learn and notice, rather than just obsess about the label.

Our good qualities are the same as anyone else's!

We are everything we are- our problem isn't that we have bad characteristics or qualities, it's that we have no sense of continuity and a sense of emptiness.

To live with that, we're resourceful, we're determined. We're stubborn. We are BRAVE to confront the world every day. We are DETERMINED to get better. We are poetic and savage and skillful in our efforts to define and understand our pain, and we are beautiful and amazing as we heal.

We're people. We're brave, wonderful, beautiful people, with more strength than anyone outside could guess.

Because I've been through the jungle myself, I am in a wonderful position to guide my young adult daughters through it.
