Hi Kmh2009 nice to meet you

yep borderline sucks - the abandonment issues, the second guessing, mistrust and allthe other parts to it - including overwhelming emotions -

do you have a therapist? i had a great one - he helped me a lot to get things under control - he retired due to il health - but i wanted you to know that things can help

Ive had CBT, NLP, DBT, Hypnotherapy, TFT, RBT, so many different types of therapy with this one therapist - and each one had somthing i could learn from and use.

there is hope for a better life

take care P7

Yeah, bpd sucks...

But WE don't! A new diagnosis is hard to live with, no matter what it is. It takes awhile to be able to even think, and there is so much to learn--in order to keep from either denying or panicking.

So support is essential, and here we are. In a couple more posts--four more, I think--you'll be able to join the chats. They are tremendously supportive.

In the meantime, there's this forum. Look at the old posts, too--and if there is one you want to respond to, do. It will rekindle the thread and it'll fly again from there.

So glad to have you here. It means we are not alone, too.

thank you all, it means a lot to have your support. Have had some bad news today. My son has been staying with my parents as i am 'emotionally unstable' and after a visit with social services today they have said my parents have to get a residence order for my son. He is being taken from me how the hell can i cope with this. they cant take my lil boy away. Hes only 18 months old

Oh, kmh, I am so sorry!
Is a residence order the same as custody? Or do you retain those rights?
Do you live near your parents?
