...I'm done with it, no more nice nice nice....oh it's so damn nice!

first of all....it's way un-natural to be nice all the time.

next its IMPOSSIBLE to do without turning on ourselves because the 'not nice' crap has gotta come out somewhere!!

it's unrealistic..!

...and if youv'e lived your life believing in some twisted way like I have that ya gotta get walked over and jumped on and keep being nice about it just to be accepted because ya maybe can't accept yourself...?
for whatever reasons...?

...it seems too late almost when all the stored up negativity thats really there turns in on ya'self.

but it's never too late to not be nice....and today if there is an opportunity to be 'nice' and it's gonna hurt me to do it...then I'm not gonna be nice about it!

Thanks for this!

Smartest thing I have read all week...month actually. Screw being polite and manners. Do what you want, within the law of course, because you only live once. Those that mind don't matter and those that matter don't mind...Dr. Seuss was a brilliant man lol....possibly a Dr of psychology with a specialty in bpd...now ponder that while you read to your children muahahahahahahhaha.
Thanks for this!

My brother accused me of being unstable yesterday coz some of my fb updates are not 'nice'... So I updated my status: "just bcoz I have an attitude problem doesn't mean I'm unstable. It means I'm RUDE" Bwaahahaa, being nice 24/7 is unnatural!
.
Great post DM

no worries Trippin...and I like your attitude problem

hey aint it amazing...with some people?

what a terrific way to stabilise someone!....by telling them they are unstable??....not sure it works that good..

it's the universal cop-out that one!...people sayin you're unstable what?...makes them appear stable I spose, to themselves

I think you're right, bcoz believe you me, my brother is not stable... Not dxd anything, but that doesn't stop him from being a crazy M0FO who's prone to 'outbursts'. The booze and 'weed' doesn't help either. Yes 'weed'... coz I'm sure it's more than that, I've seen him in action, and I'm quite knowledgable on the subject, ESPECIALLY looking for telltale signs. GLAD he lives in a different country. (not so nice, but the truth hardly is)

Get away from the dichotomy! What's with the nice/not nice? Get a little range in there, appropriately geared to individual situations. Rebelling and being "not nice" anymore isn't any different from always being nice.

Ditch the word "nice" in the first place; what does it mean, anyway? See, you can't even define it because it's a non-word if ever there was one.

Sometimes I wonder this myself. I've always been nice and look at my own partner who's not. We have these acquaintance couples - the men are super nice/great catches and their wives are the typical (pardon my language) Biotch's. Their husbands do back flips for them and one lives in a multi million dollar house on the river. So many rich people have women who are like this.

...thats excellent!, at least you decided not to be nice about it, very cool. and the idea was to avoid range Perna...and therefore avoid complication.

....and it's not about rebelling either. It's about being realistic!

have a non-word day.
Thanks for this!

....by the way Perna, you do seem to like the dichotomy thing there?

I see you have a Jung comment as your signature..
the tortured and the torturer....looks suspiciously like some kind of dichotomy don't you think....or not think ?
