yep that makes loads of sense Ophelia...

considering the 'penalties' when it don't work...I know I never recovered from a 'first love' experience twenty years ago and still I bash my unloved head against the 'wall of vague hate' (hehe sounds like some harry potter prop)

...needy me just watched a movie and got me all emotional yeah what a luxury and these people were going through memories of dear ones to survive and damn I got sucked right in...aaaaah!

but it all just turns me into useless goop!

...it's like...."dum de dum de da....dum de dum...what??..over there?? LOVE YA FREAKING FOREVER I'M GONNA DIE! ...horribly so much damn it HURTS so what get the F outa here!......."

...."whats the time?, whats my name?, where was I goin'? I hate that place ....oh crap I'm lost ....who are you? can I borrow your car?...oh it's my car?? I'm so weird....everybody sux get away!!

yikes

And THAT's exactly why I refuse to watch RomComs and drama, and all the other lame bpd triggery stuff. Movies ought to make you feel good.

Me either I have been married for 17 years and ask all the same questions

Trippin... I pretty much can't stand RomComs becuase my ADD brain rips right through the story. My wife loves RomComs, I guess they give her hope for happy endings, but for me they setup states of happiness that are unrealistic

My wife and I saw a movie last night called "Take this Waltz". I had no idea what it would be about, but it may be the most realistic potrayal of adult relationships I've ever seen on the big screen. Not really a feel good or feel bad movie, just Real...

If you guys figure this out, please let me know

it's funny weird I am... I often get excited occassionally sometimes never much to go to the video store to rent movies and thinking the "guy at home guy" wants to watch them he rarely does they just sit around and get returned late paying extra even, what an entertainment dilemma

I just know what might happen if I turn the machine on....aaaah!

want to be able to love somebody

Yeah, thats what I hate most about them. Unrealistic, and even tho you know this, you end up wanting it, or feeling s.h.i.t that you can't deliver it. And why should we feel crap about stuff that falls into the same catagory as the bloody toothfairy anyway!?
