Agreed. That's exactly how I feel. The rest to me, is just .. creative writing.

Sometimes I try to rhyme, sometimes I don't. Usually, when I write this kind of stuff, it's more to vent and get the feeling out more than anything else. It starts as a ramble or vent stream of consciousness thing and I go back and add punctuation and fix spelling later.

I gotcha, not saying that it's not good writing when it doesn't rhyme and stuff, just in my mind I hear poetry and I think rhythm and rhyme.

I have an idea that came to me last night and I didn't post it right away for various reasons, not the least being that I figured it would be stupid. But there it is, still lingering in my brain and I figured if it's not going to let me go I'll just friggin share to to get that "voice" to shut up.

So my idea is this:

If you're a writer of poetry, an artist or musician it doesn't matter. I wonder, how would each of you express your BPD in your particular creative manner? If you're interested post that here - a drawing, lyrics to a song, poetry or even short essay. I just think maybe this could be a form of therapy for people if they let it.

Try it. I'll post something as soon as I have it.
what a great idea I love to to draw expressive cartoons showing the many difficult emotions that are hard to control with borderline personality disorder.
The creative side of BPD

If anyone cares, I've got a couple new poems up on the Creativity corner. I'd put them up here, but I'm lazy, and one of them is twelve six-line verses long.

If anyone wants to check them out, one is called Valentine's Day, and the other is Yin and Yang.

I like to write, but I have no motivation or confidence. So I guess that doesn't really count as being creative.

Of course it counts. lacking in motivation or confidence in your skill is in no way connected to whether someone is creative or not.

I will check them out. You should post links to your other posts that you want to share at least though, it will make it easier for the readers to find them
