Hi there, nice to meet you. I am relatively new here. Well, what you are saying sounds really motivated, well done!

I think BPD explains why we do the things we do, think the way we do, feel the way we do etc.

I'm having really bad day, so sorry if this not much help.

Did you receive my reply? I can't see it in the post, still quite new to all this.

The important thing is not that you've made errors or consider yourself irresponsible; it's that you've figured it out and are determined to do something about it. How many parents never realize that they did wrong or that they cared more about themselves than their kids? I'm not using that as an excuse, but it's true. If you never get it and understand, if you never know and you walk around life thinking things are all right while the world is crumbling down around you, you'll never get anywhere. How many of us have parents who fit that description? How many of us would more than likely not be here on PC if we had parents who understood what they were doing and did something about it?

Good luck in figuring things out....
