Why can't I just be normal? Why do I have to be crazy? I have more problems than most people can handle. I can't keep friends for more than a minute. It's so hard! I just moved here a month and a half ago. I'm having SUCH a hard time making friends. Everyone who I try to be friends with leaves me after they get to know me. They all say "I'm not going anywhere" and then they leave. And when I sit here home alone I think about how much I hate myself and it just leads to self harm. Then there's this one guy who is trying to be my friend, but why let him in when he's just gonna leave? Why let anyone in? Then I feel lonely, because I have no one. No one sees things the way I see them. I just have these stupid episodes and no one stays passed them. Then when I look back at what I did I feel SO stupid! Who does that!? Who acts like that!? It's like it's not even me. And I'm fighting SO hard to get better, but It's so overwhelming I just want to give up. I feel like there is no where I belong. Why do I have to have these stupid disorders!? I want friends...I'm craving it right now, I'm so lonely T.T

Maybe you should give that guy a chance. At worst he'll leave, and you'll be in the same place you are now anyway. But if he doesn't, you'll finally have a friend.

I guess that's true, but it hurts so much to watch people leave because they can't handle me

In honesty, I've never had a friend. It's not that bad if I seclude myself and stop thinking about people, but then I'll see a group of teenagers having a good time and I'll be lonely and depressed for days. So, to some extent, I know how you feel.
Do you ever see that guy with other people, or does he seem pretty much alone?

I've never really paid much attention...Though I remember him saying most people he talks to stop talking to him.

It's exactly as I thought then. It sounds to me like he probably has a similar problem with making (and keeping) friends. If that's the case, he might be less likely to leave you because he knows what that's like.
I can't promise anything, but I really do think you should give him a chance.

Then I guess I'll try that out. Thanks.

I've done that more times than I can remember. It's usually followed by me banging my head against the wall or something, because I too feel so stupid for having done the same thing.

You are not alone. There are many caring people here in PC.
Thanks for this!

Thank you. It's nice to have people who understand. It's hard to fight this alone.

Well, you don't have to be alone now.

I moved to this city and it was about a year before I made my first friend. I dunno, maybe because I'm getting old. The older i get, the harder i find it is to connect with people. the upside is, the older i get, the less i like people and want to connect with them
Hang in there hon and yeah, maybe this guy is worth getting to know.
Thanks for this!

Yea, that's a big issue for me, I DO NOT like people. Like at all. .-.
