When you need something from me, tell me what it is! Don't dance all around the subject, giving me lots of vague information, and expect me to guess the right thing. Then, when I don't guess right you get aggravated and angry with me. Well, I am going to stop taking the blame for that, beginning now! Tell me the specifics from the start instead of making me drag them out of you. That makes me aggravated and angry. I am happy to be of assistance, but I can't do it if I don't know what you want.

been there, done that. I've got loads of patience with people that are vague -- due to 10+ years of working in IT Support on the phone. Yeah the end users typically have no clue as to what's going on so you learn to dig and ask the right questions. "ok, yeah so your desk is vibrating? hmmm.. do you know when it happens... " etc. (true story too.. lady called b/c of periodic vibrating desk. come to find out she had placed her cell phone in her desk drawer and forgot about it. it was going off periodically as people were trying to call her) So yeah. I understand what you mean.

*sigh* I know that one! That sounds like a good plan to me, the hassle just isn't worth it!

I like to call people stupd and frequently do too but most of the time it's "unthinking" and "running on autopilot"... they just dont' think about what they're saying or doing.. sad but true (unfortunately I say this and convict myself.. cus I am sure I've been guilty a few times)

yeah, I know what you mean! my sister and her husband played that game with me for many years. they would just never come out and ask me or tell me what they wanted/needed from--I was always expected to second guess them, then they would get so angry at me because I didnt just "know." They were my legal guardians for a couple of years, and they spent a lot of time very mad at because I didnt just know what they wanted without them telling me; oh, to this day, they still accuse me of having been "rebellious," "defiant," etc, just because I wasnt a mind reader!
