For me, it was seeing my pdoc and walking out of the gas station and having some girl lean out of her window and telling me I'm pretty. What's made your day better?

I mean a lot of things do. Certain people/friends do that if I haven't heard from them for a time. There's one particular one that does perk me up quite often. She doesn't message me all the time but when she does it always affects me positively  Coffee or should I say espresso in particular, perks me up. It all depends on the day! Oh and payday. But then that's a generally perkier day

Not a lot lately. I've been feeling physically and emotionally exhausted for a few months now. My ex-husband refuses to co-parent our 3 year old, and my current partner leaves me to deal with our infant ddaughter a lot. I'm also likely suffering from hypothyroidism, which makes me feel like complete crap physically since it's not being treated yet. Lately I feel sad and wonder why I bother remaining sober, but then I remember that I'm more sane sober, despite there being no escape from my thoughts/feelings.
Helping others with their problems or just listening to them is the best distraction from this depressive cycle I'm in right now. Last edited by Anonymous13579; Nov 10, 2013 at 08:29 AM. |
