For me, it was seeing my pdoc and walking out of the gas station and having some girl lean out of her window and telling me I'm pretty. What's made your day better?

I would agree with this one- in fact before reading your description I was going to post "when an attractive girl shows interest or flirts with me."
Thanks for this!

That's what i would have posted. cute girls smiling at me or saying hi, showing interest. But that's just one thing.

I mean a lot of things do. Certain people/friends do that if I haven't heard from them for a time. There's one particular one that does perk me up quite often. She doesn't message me all the time but when she does it always affects me positively Coffee or should I say espresso in particular, perks me up.

It all depends on the day!

Oh and payday. But then that's a generally perkier day

Consider yourself VERY lucky if ANY girl shows an interest in you..... some of us are not so fortunate.

I always say 50% of the time life is better than normal and 50% of the time life is worse than normal... hopefully you're just due for an upswing soon.

Not a lot lately. I've been feeling physically and emotionally exhausted for a few months now. My ex-husband refuses to co-parent our 3 year old, and my current partner leaves me to deal with our infant ddaughter a lot. I'm also likely suffering from hypothyroidism, which makes me feel like complete crap physically since it's not being treated yet. Lately I feel sad and wonder why I bother remaining sober, but then I remember that I'm more sane sober, despite there being no escape from my thoughts/feelings.
Helping others with their problems or just listening to them is the best distraction from this depressive cycle I'm in right now.

I am baking banana bread and imagining how good it is going to taste all warm with melted butter on it.

Sure, when does your flight get in

Do you know what is really good on warm banana bread? Peanut butter! My BIL taught me that one.
