Aww how exciting! Two of my friends just had October babies, that brightened my day too. That and October makes me happy in general. Tiz my daughter's birthday month, and when it stopps being hot and there's pretty orange leaves. Fall.

I'm a big fall fan myself. We have been spoiled this fall with awesome weather but are supposed to get snow tonight! The first few snow falls will be great, then I'll be counting down the days till Spring.

What a nice thing to do. I am sure she will love it. I have done a lot of sewing for nieces and nephews, not so much for my son.
