With the psychiatrist saying that I can't work for at least 2 years our finances suck. Tonight we sign the loan consolidation paper so that we can survive. The hit to our credit score is going to suck! I hate that we are so in debt. With the consolidation we will pay everything off within 5 years and we will not be able to get any new credit in that time period. I am a little worried when it comes time to renew our mortgage...
I hate dealing with money! I work in accounting, other people's money is fine but I hate dealing with our personal finances!

I know how you feel with the credit scores. Mine is shot. With the separation/divorce crap going on I was left with all the obligations but none of the benefits. Lost a lot in the past 18+ months. Of course it was never a great credit score but now if I ever want any credit worthiness it's going to take a long time to rebuild it. Not that I want the credit. Not into buying things today that I can't pay for til tomorrow :/ But still the credit score today is so overly emphasized.

I hate credit, I used it for convenience for a long time I paid my bill in full every month. For the last couple of years due to my health I have not been working which makes it harder to pay our mortgage and car loan, buy groceries, pay for kid stuff etc. I just want this to be over. I am glad that we are able to do this and not declare bankruptcy.
