Today has been one of those days where I'm in the veege of tears all day and then explode as soon as I'm in my car. I've been sobbing on and off all night.

I can't face the reality that im rarely understood and that I have a hard time getting close to people. I can't handle that my poetry is getting me no where in the local scene. I can't deal with the fact that everyone around me can find happiness and love so much easier than I can. I can't deal with seeing my ex. How is he with women when he said he needed to be alone and how is he happier than me when his dad just died?

I'm rambling. I just don't know how I can keep dragging my self around with all of this weight. Life seems almost pointless for me and my defective brain. I have nothing to look forward to. Why can't anyone (including me) help me?

What a peculiar name you have. I'm sorry you had a bad day, but you must know there is always hope. We have good days and bad days. Start a journal if you do not already have one. I like using this one as it is highly configurable and graphs your progress and allows for notes and it's free too, check it out.

A journal will help you remember that life is not always so dark and gloomy and there are sunny days too. No matter how bad of a day I am having I try to remember it will pass. It's not a magic bullet but it's reassuring to remember better times are around the corner!

I knew that feeling very well years ago and I'm sorry you feel that way

I found that taking myself on "dates" really helped me like going out and doing things that I wanted to do like grabbing pizza or sitting by a pond. Slowly I worked on myself through positive thoughts and took every opportunity that was available. Positive energy attracts positive actions and people.

Is there a reason why you are rarely understood and have a hard time getting close to people?

It's hard to cope when you look around & everyone around you is finding happiness - or so it seems.

Examine that statement.

Would you be happier if in reality others were as unhappy as you? Maybe not happier, but your unhappiness could be a bit less painful perhaps? Perhaps there's some truth to the saying "misery loves company".

Well, good news. it only appears or seems like everyone around you is finding happiness. In truth, they're just like you - but they're putting on a good show.

If you can't make it, fake it. Before you leave for work or school or whatever you do, look in the mirror and say, "it's show time".

Try it. You'll feel better about yourself when you know everyone else has issues they struggle with. They might not struggle the same way you do, but in the end it's all the same.

Chill out. Just meditate. Calm yourself down. When i say meditate, i mean it. If you have a lotta problems in life, just solve them one by one. If you dont have any problems, u still feel down, engage in extra curricular activities, After you have had your day, Just spend time meditating. Read "the Secret" by Rhonda Byrne

Its true, this too shall pass.

I was having a really bad time a few days ago, but now, today, I don't know whats changed, but I feel more determined today..

Think of it as swimming in a pool where you sink down to touch the bottom then when your lungs are screaming you bounce up and burst through the surface to breath air into your lungs again.. ups and downs.. use the downs to get back up again.. I don't know..sometimes I think its better to let your self sink to the bottom that way you can use it to surface quicker than to just be trying to swim to the top with no momentum.. Now I am rambling..

Thanks guys. I just get overwhelmed because I don't really have any resources to make my life better, at least not anytime soon, so it all feels trapping.

You're awesome would really like to hear your poetry.

I write too, friends don't get where it comes from can do one for one if you like?

Reckon from your message you're pretty good (no pressure though). Just a kind ear hoping to read your stuff

I'm sorry darlin'. I've been where you are, wondering why everyone else is so much happier than me. Sometimes I even think my life is a punishment for something bad I did in a past life.
It will be ok, the moment will pass. I know it might not seem like it but it always does.
Here if you need support.
