I take meds for my depression and anxiety.
I see a therapist and will soon be starting DBT.
I have not really made any major lifestyle changes.
I have used meditation a few times, mostly when I feel myself losing control I listen to music, loud music.

I imagine when I start DBT I will be making more changes in my life. Right now I have just been using the skills workbook on my own.

Gigantic amounts of meditation and mindfulness. It's the only thing that seems to work on a regular, consistant basis for me.

Medication: Lamotrigine (150mg), Fluoxetine (60mg), Lorazepam (1mg; PRN), and Zolpidem (10mg; PRN).

Therapy: Individual CBT therapist. No DBT available atm for me.

Lifestyle changes: walking for 20-30mins at least 5x a week. Eating more balanced meals, less carbohydrates. Going to bed before 3am and waking up before 2pm. No MMO computer games. No journaling. Going outside the house once a week, by myself, for at least an hour. Limiting TV. Going out and doing things like grocery shopping.

Meditation: Not atm. I tried before and failed. They told me to acknowledge the thoughts that come in and then let them go out....problem is they never left.

Other stuff: documenting my mood everyday, reading Marsha Linehan's Cognitive-Behavioral Treatment of Borderline Personality Disorder, improving my physical health problems, writing my T once a week (and keeping it minimal), being open with the people in my life with how I'm actually feeling, keeping busy, trying to take care of myself, try to contribute here at PC while not obsessing over it.

Meds and DBT, but I barely use mindfulness. Just can't be bothered with it...

DBT was created from and has it's roots in meditation and mindfulness training, so you are doing it to one extent or another.

I meant that I don't practice mindfulness like I'm supposed. I pretend to when in skills group and don't do it at home. But I use the other skills.

I take medication to treat my depression and anxiety, which make it more difficult to deal with my bpd.
I'm in an intensive outpatient dbt group right now.
I'm trying to cut down on impulsivity an substance use.
I am trying to use dbt skills.

I'm in therapy once a week and will be starting DBT. I was just prescribed Wellbutrin to combat the depression and anxiety.

I also try to get consistent sleep, and get up around the same time every day. Exercise has been very effective for me, but I recently injured my ankle.

I just try to learn as much as I can about myself and work on me. Learning to cope with how I am every day.

No meds.
No Therapy.
No Doc.

Self Help.
