How did I get so lucky? Do a lot of you out there have both? She is thinking rapid cycling also.. :/

I never know which way is up. My T wants me to track my moods on a calendar - does she really think that that's enough space? My moods can change so many times a day with no warning. Does anyone else try to keep track of them?

They are trying to figure out of the lamotrigine is working (up to 300 mg) - but I'm thinking if they are having me keep track - it clearly isn't working and my moods are not stable. But hey, I'm no Doctor.

In my last few therapy sessions, My T has had me write down things that triggered me in some way and how I reacted - and then tell her how I should have reacted.. I KNOW HOW I should have reacted but the anger always strikes first... GRRRR

Also, Happy New Year everyone!

I'm just BPD, but I know of some people that have been diagnosed with both. Good luck!

I have also hit the jackpot alongside you. Quite a few of us have a dual dx.

I suggest you use a mood tracker instead of a calendar, its much more accurate.

As A Bi-Polar....I used to daily journal in an hourly book....kept them for years to use as a study of myself...that's before the BPD dx....now I miss not having them anymore ... because I think it would be great to chart myself now and see where I need to strengthen myself, because times have changed, situations have changed...but I am the same.....hmmm....Or have I learned any better ways to cope???... That seems to be a large part of my fight too....I just don't believe in myself at all.....Why don't I like me??? oh yeah...BPD...right.... Does anybody understand this? Or is my mind an another tangent again????? Yikes...

If i tracked my mood it would probably make me feel worse about myself because then i would have tangible proof of how loopy i am in just one day. I have i have mixed bipolar and bpd
