when will I learn not to go looking for it on the internet? There is no easier way to dig yourself into that hole when people don't respond how you wanted--or worse, not at all.

((((Happy Camper)))))

tsk, tsk....

Just kidding! It is hard NOT to go onto the internet and try to get reassurance, personal opinions, and so forth. Lots of us are alone and have not other friends, family, or loved ones that we can lean on in hard times.

We have to try to remind ourselves not to expect instant satisfaction though. It isn't realistic. We have to wait a little while before we can expect to see responses. Depending upon how unusual the subject matter and our online friend base are also factors. Of course, I don't know where you're talking about posting whatever, so I'm trying to stay generalized.

Hope that helps you make it through. Best wishes to you!

I know exactly how you feel happy camper, I feel like I want to explode if people don't say what I want them to say, it doesn't matter how irrational or insincere that might feel. And I think sometimes even when they say the right thing you still want to crack holes in that theory.
