Hi

i was just woundering if anyone can help

i was in my wellness class today and we had to pick an early warning sign and then come up with an action plan for it

my early warning sign was that i zone out, i do know sometimes when i do it and sometimes other people can see it but only if i'm very stressed or that

i think i kind of detach myself from the then situationm, go into my own little world kind of, things could be happening round me and i just pass no heat, usually can't remember much that goes on round that time either

does anyone have any ideas on an action plan for that?

cause we were in a group of 3 but no one knew how i could deal with it

if you have any suggestions i would really appreciate it

thanks

If you can feel it coming on, you can try to breathe your way through it. Try to focus on your breathing and work on mindfulness and get your mind off of whatever it is that's stressing you out and causing you to detach.

It is very hard. It is something that I regularly do as well. I can usually tell when it's coming on, but I often can't stop it.

thanks for replying Maranara

don't know mindfulness will look that up

i find it very difficult to stop it too, maybe a distraction but i find sometimes i don't mind it as it takes me away from what ever is happening at that moment, problem is then i don't remember things and as for conversations i would be clueless.

it's is a difficult thing to get out of
