So I got discharged from a psych ward last week and now I'm at home the whole time. See I wasn't ready to be discharged but u turned 18 so I had to.
I'm at home now and I literally do nothing. I just sit on my couch, only getting up for food or the bathroom. It makes it so hard for me to control my thoughts but I have no motivation to get up and do something. It takes hours for me to get out of bed and when I do it's just to go down stairs and lie on the couch. I've just been sitting here....

I have the same "energy" issues as you mentioned. And as impossible as it feels/sounds - you have to make yourself get up. Go for a long walk (1/2 hour or more).

If you stay idle, your brain just keeps re-triggering your depression.

Good luck.
Thanks for this!

sounds like you are pretty depressed! can you think of any activities you like to do that give you energy? laying around all the time is not good for you.
i'm sure you know that, hee hee maybe a little walking could help

does sound like depression, you deff need to make yourself do something active every day. Make a list of activities that you enjoy or used to enjoy and pick something off the list to do every day for at least an hour.
