I'm a male and just found out I have borderline personality disorder after all these years. I'm looking for good mental support, relate with others, get good advice and offer encouragement out there who is hurting also. I'm just glad to know I'm not alone.

I was wondering is there any free online support or by phone where I can get help when I may need some?

Hi John,
Welcome..
You might try bpdresources.net, bpdresourcecenter.org., the site that aj mahari runs in Canada, anything on DBT therapy, etc.
I likrd the book 'Buddha and the Borderline', ,'the Face in the Mirror', and the nee novel by Katherine Gonzalez, called 'Therapy:a Novel'.
There are some pretty good online therapy sites, but sometimes can get a little expensive. Just make sure to choose a t thay lists bpd as a specialty. Some therapists don't always trest patients with bpd...
Hope these are some good jumping off points...mostly remember that a diagnosis can inclufe behaviours, tendecies, or spectrums of severity that differ greatly one to another.
Best wishes,
WB

Hi John
Welcome to PC. (I don't know if the 3:16 is intentionally the bible reference, but it's a nice passage from there).

You can pretty much share what you like here (with a few exceptions) and find understanding and support. I find the anonymity very freeing.
