I don't know if this is worth posting here, but I feel like I need to share.

Last night was quite possibly one of the worst nights of my life. The dog that I've had since I was a child died last night. He was fine during the day: I took him to my best friends' graduation party which was at a park, and he was so excited to see all the new people and to run around outside.

I was incredibly distraught, and I called up those same friends, who came over to my house immediately. I was held in the arms of the boy who I think I'm in love with for a good hour or so. He would have spent the night if he didn't have work the next morning.

I woke up a few hours ago, and I feel incredibly melancholy, but hopeful. Today I vowed that I would stop self-injuring and start putting my negative energy towards something healthy.

I'm feeling sad and weak but everything is okay. I am okay. Life is okay.

Oh that is awful. I am so sorry you lost your dog.

It's great you have supportive friends that came round to see you and I am glad you are feeling okay, after all that i think okay isn't such a bad thing.

Hope you find a way through and stay okay!

He was such a friendly dog too. Always greeted new people with a wagging tail. They really do become a part of the family.

I'm doing better than I thought I would. I haven't left the house in a while, but I've been taking care of myself. Thanks for checking in, it means a lot

I'm sorry to hear about your loss. I've known a couple of dogs that really meant a lot to me, and I miss them.

Thank you. He was an amazing dog, but I know that he's in a better place.

Thats really a hard thing to go through, especially the first time.... for some the death of a companion never gets easier, but it is something that you can grow from. Please be safe!
