I am just after some honest personal stories/anecdotes of BPDs managing money, investments and spending in regards to our impulsivity.

(I am BPD, GAD, with severe depression, and am needing the info for a legal battle)

Thanks heaps
x

I have BPD, general anxiety, PTSD, and major depression. I have trouble managing my money and always have to ask my Mom for help. She not realizing I pay all my bills and other bills like health insurance, car insurance. I'm having trouble. Maybe taking budget class may help you I had done that and still having problems. Best of luck.

I have a problem handling money also, and I give that trust to my best friend and roommate to help make sure I get all the bills paid, then he holds onto the rest and gives me an allowance every week.

I have serious issues keeping money until I'm almost "broke". When I have anything over the amount I consider "broke" it gets impulsively spent. I'm constantly asking my mom for help financially. I've been in situations where I HAD to save money to take care of something and I blew it all faster than I could make it.
