I have been there, well i am there. Its so hard when you stop vomitting and over using laxatives etc because the weight steadily comes on and you find yourself not worrying about what you eat and then its like the opposite happens and I tend to let myself go so its a tricky situation.

I am so pleased for you though.
That is a small amount to gain and if u can eat normally and only eat when hungry and enjoy every delicious meal in moderation then you should be okay.
This is the only advice I know besides, intensive therapy and CBT mixed with an appetite suppressing antidepressant. That helped, are you on any meds?

Bupropion is meant to be great for binge eating disorder and for helping appetite and weight loss, i would love it.. what steps are you taking to keep yourself healthy?

You are not disgusting. You are recovering. It's hard to learn to eat only when you're physically hungry and to stop when you're full. The hardest part was learning to slow down while eating meals. I still struggle with that. Our culture encourages eating for every reason imaginable. It's really difficult to resist eating for emotional reasons. It can be done. You can learn different ways to deal with what triggers you to binge. It takes time and persistence.

When I find it impossible not to binge, I go for the carrots and rice cakes. I once ate so many carrots for so long that the palms of my hands turned orangish. True! I don't know if my eyesight was any better, ha-ha.
Thanks for this!
