How do you make nerve pain go away? I can't even get my arm in a good position to sleep at night. It just throbs and hurts and tingeles and burns. Pain pills don't make it go away. Heat and ice don't.

Thunderbear ... try ice to limit inflammation at the site of where a nerve is "pinched" ... if that might be your issue. Stretching helps too, to free up the nerves. Since your issue is not all over your body, I suspect it's from one nerve being affected and that pain is radiating down your arm.
![]() Do you have a TENS unit by any chance? I doubt it, because it's by prescription. It blocks the signal from the nerve so the brain doesn't get the pain message. You can try ice massage on your neck, too. Try calming yourself and watching how you address this issue, as that can irritate yourself and make the pain worse. ![]() Yeah I can feel with my hand the swollen muscel along the spine in my neck. That's where the pain is radiating from. It all happened from when i streacjed my stiff shoulder and popped something. I have a TENS but my electrodes have lost their sticky. I don't know here to get anymore. But I know it would help me.

Maybe you can call a physiotherapy place and they can tell you where to buy those sticky electrode things. Have you had an MRI done on your neck? Maybe try acupuncture or have someone massage it for you. I went through some bad lower back pain last weekend and I was miserable for a few days....pain really frays the patience. I hope you find relief soon

BTW, you might quit wearing (or change the kind you wear) of bra. They often pull on the neck rather badly.
![]() Call the number on the TENS, or ask your MD for info ... call your pharmacy and see if they provide supplies for durable medical devices.
