I hate that I can't play baseball, I hate that i can't take my grand kids for walks or to the park, I hate that i can't drive a car, I hate what i'v done to myself to not be able to do those things. What I do love is that i found another way to do those things. Still haven't figured out a way to drive yet. I love that someone had my back and spared my live. I love that i'm a stronger person now. I love my family and my family love's me. I also adore my self. I also love the universe.

I have other people drive me around, especially my hubby. It is frustrating not to be able to do the things I used to do. I'm glad to hear you're adjusting and doing well!

I'm sure you can do thousands of great things still, even if you can not do those...you are still an useful and lovely woman.

Hi hate that I can't go skiing anymore; that I can't ride a bike; that I can't even go for a walk! But, God has given me two great children and one grandchild -- I can be grateful.

Yes, a few things we can't do, but still a lot we can.........you just have to find another way to do it. I totally refuse to let my pain and my inability to walk without a walker stop me from doing almost anything.......I say almost because there are some things I wouldn't do even if I was walking...e.g. bugee jumping,skydiving...etc...LOL.. I just work around stuff. You know that saying "where there's a will there's a way"
