I know that when it comes to relief from chronic pain or waiting to get in to see a doctor for help, there is nothing better than getting in to see them earlier than planned. Hope your appointment goes really well and you are able to get solutions and great results from your problems. My Appt

Thanks KK... I am trying to fill out all the paperwork now. Yesterday I had a migraine that could kill! I couldnt help my friend out at our garage sale yesterday at all. And I have yet to pick up my stuff. My back is killing me too.. I hate this! Its so debilitating! The only thing I am scared of is they said they may have to do an electrical test.. its called electromyography and NCS ( nerve conduction study) This sounds scarey like in needles or something. And I am terrified of needles. My Appt

Thank you Angie.. I am glad its happening too. Except for the things I have expressed in my reply to KK above. That is one thing I am very scared of. I know I should just suck it up. I just hate the unknown .

Yes.. Its just scarey reading about it. I want to be informed . But they are saying its going to be painful. I am so scared about this that I am just shaking here. UGH... I know I gotta go thru with this. I have to find out what can be done to help me. Just why the needles?!?!?!!?!!??!?!

Well I just got back from the appt. And THANKFULLY I ddint have to go thru the electromyography testing or the NCS!!!!!!!!!! WOO HOO! The bad thing is that I have been diagnosed with Fibromyalgia. Hey at least its not a death sentence for me right? I just gotta learn how to deal with it by taking medication and also I have to do stretches and exercise more. Which thats beein in the works. But there are going to be certain things I am going to be able to do and not do now. I will be taking PT to learn those things more. The doctor was really nice. Took his time with me. Answered questions and all that good stuff. I really like him. So all in all things are ok. My Appt

Thanks to all of you for helping me thru this. The giving of support and encouragement helped me greatly! I was very close to not going this morning . But thought about it and said its not going to help me to not go.

Glad you went, sorry to hear it's fibromyalgia. However, you can learn to live with it... the fatigue factor is what I think frustrates most of the ppl who have it?
