my hip is killing meeeeeeeee I just want it to end!!! I am so tired of hurting but the pain level just went to a 10!!!!!

nothing. it don't work. it has eased off a little bit. I have to live with it mostly. I hate taking pills!

I love my pills. it's the difference between life and death I think. If I had to have that level of pain, 10 all of the time I would not be able to cope. Please feel better. If you have financial means there are other ways to relieve pain, like accupuncture.

I hope you are feeling better now. I have had many 10's. It's rough until my pain meds kick in. I have a starting lineup...Methadone, Ultram, Aleve. and Xanax for the anxiety the pain brings with it.

My pain Doc is pretty understanding about my pain so I feel lucky in that respect. Occassionaly I will have to get joint shots. Owie. BUT they do help with the pain!

I am absolutely in love with the doc who did the injections in my shoulder! Immediate relief! Dottie, am off for MRI today, will know more next week. Bebop, get thyself to a pain clinic.

Sounds like time for an ice massage! I freeze water into either paper or styrofoam cups. With the paper, I just pop the ice out and hold it with a cloth...with the styrofoam you can peel the sides down...be careful not to allow anything but the ice to touch your skin.... and rub the ice on the painful area, and if you know from where it is resonating... keep the ice moving...it will begin to burn but if you're in level 10, it won't matter... and the numbness that sets in soon after is well worth it!!! I find I receive nearly 20 minutes of relief from level 10 this way.

BEBOP! You are doing too much. I KNOW you have a schedule, and many things you feel you HAVE to do RIGHT NOW ...BUT you must stop and rest and take care of yourself. Pushing, whether for yourself or another's benefit is NOT conducive to quality life. I hope you find yourself and know you're wonderful!

have you been trained in self-hypnosis for pain control ?

it was the only thing that helped us after we refused the addictive meds.
