There are a few things about hospice, it is yes about choosing no more invasive treatment, just comfort care, It is also about living your life to the fullest. That means assessing your goals, wishes, desires and seeing if they can happen. It means additional supports as well. And yes, it does mean differing moneys for the facility. However, you are in charge from the get go. Being on Hospice doesn't mean okay I think I will die now. Many frinds have had to sign off and back on later as they stopped meeting criteria. Please think of this from my perspective. We are all terminal and by actively being a part in managing your life you are taking control and having the experience you deem best. I hope this makes sense.

(((((gentle hug))))) I hear you about hospice! I think WW knows her stuff on this one. Have you had anyone come and talk to you about what all it IS about? There may be things they can help you with without taking over your life, or you giving up on it. I 'm getting worse I feel real bad I'm sorry you are hurting so, I sure do know exactly what it is. I could have given up this week myself, but somehow got through the flare (the Psychologist and the ER helped.)

Sometimes others have new information that we, who are in such pain, can't even dream about. I hope you find someone to help you find that extra help. I 'm getting worse I feel real bad
