Hi everyone,
Because of surgeries and chronic pain, my doctor prescribed me Morphine sulfate and Fentanyl patches. That seems to work for the pain. But I feel very depressed ever since I use them Also I have the impression that I'm more confused and forgetful than ever. My doctor thinks it's not the medicine that causes this, but I doubt it. Even though it'd be more likely that Morphine makes you rather happy than depressed. Did anyone else experience this too? |

The chronic pain condition you have is likely to make you depressed and confusion comes with depression. It would not be the pain relief, morphine side effects are euphoria, make sure you are not skipping any doses, the pain management needs to be constant.
