I went for my massage today and each time the pain started to get real bad I practiced my deep breathing. It didn't lessen the pain but it did make me calmer so I wouldn't tense up - this is great progress for me!! Making a little progress

Unfortunately, my massage therapist is on vacation and then I am, so it's 5 weeks to my next appointment Making a little progress

ah that's good to hear. But I think it did lessen the pain some. When we tense up from pain, that causes more pain... it's a vicious cycle. So what you are doing is great self care!!! You can arrange an appt with a fill in massage therapist, and also, there are plenty of spas and hotels and such that offer massages. I just tell them my dx and how to be gentle Making a little progress
