Well, after my chiro and hypnotherapist convinced me yesterday, I called the specialist today to schedule the MRI. I was quite surprised that they scheduled it for tomorrow for 1:00.

So - wish me luck. I know some of you will understand this - it's not that I want something to show up, but it would be nice if it was a little something that showed up that they can fix instead of the usual "everything looks great".

Yes I surely understand that reasoning! Let us know... btw my MRIs showed what I'd been saying all along, and also another health issue I knew nothing about. I hope you get results that help you. (((hugs)))

{{{{{{Bepop, Tucker, Freewill, and Sky}}}}}}

Thanks so much! I went for the MRI and they did do two. One of my lower back and one of my hip. Oh my gosh - one hour on that table and I wanted to die!

When I was done I noticed it on the computer screen so I asked if that was me and she said yes and started to show me - quite cool.

Of course I said that my spine looked absolutely perfect to which they replied "we aren't doctors, etc, etc". She showed me the hip but I couldn't tell anything. I'm trying not to project but I really had the feeling that they didn't think there was anything there.

So when I got to the car I had a complete meltdown - knew it would be coming soon. Just so tired and frustrated! They said the doc should have the results Monday but the last time they said that he didn't call for a week, so I'll give it until Wednesday before I start bugging him.

I just want to walk - I mean that's why I had my knee replaced at 39 years old and now I'm 42 and I still can't walk. Arg....I just feel like whining. sorry guys Last ditch effort

OOO I know, even with my knees bent and supported, that mri of the spine was a doozy. (((hugs)))

Followup on the sans on Monday... make sure they send them over to the doctor. Last ditch effort

Was it a closed MRI? I hope so. I couldn't have "open" MRIs as they weren't strong enough to show the damage. Last ditch effort

Thanks Sky! Yes it was closed - I didn't realize there could be a difference. I don't get claustrophobic that way so it was fine for me. Of course losing the 35 pounds recently helped me fit in the thing Last ditch effort I said at least since I was stuffed in there I didn't have to worry about holding my arms still - I just let them relax and they were wedged against the side of the machine Last ditch effort

Just got off the phone with my sponsor - another crying spell. I'm due for my period - so I don't need much of a reason to cry, hope I get it by tomorrow!
