Today I'm in a lot of pain today. I suffer from an self attacking immune system, meaning it attacks itself when I'm under stress or just for the hell of it. I also have chronic pancreatitis. I take a lot of pain pills but nothing seems to work. The doctors can't do nothing for me. They just have me on a pain management contract. It really does blow to stay at home all day in pain. I have such high endeavors for myself that for them to all come to a halt because I'm sick just depresses me too the point I worry, to the point I panic, and to the point I make my pain even worse.

hi Kitty, have you ever heard of IVIG? intravenous immunoglublin. I t is used in autoimmune conditions to replace and neutralize the antibodies that attack your own body. Do a google search of it and ask your doctors about it and if it would help you. I am sorry you are in pain, i know a little about that myself and it just grinds you down to dust.

I also have a "troubled" immune system and know that I can feel so helpless when I don't get relief. Mine comes from having reconstructive breast surgery, after a radical mastectomy in 1974, and along with the immune problems I also have 24/7 pain.

I take a mild pain pill which usually doesn't help and my doctor is referring me to a pain clinic....I've been to pain clinics before and here I am, still hurting.

I'm going to look up what you suggested, Joe....I understand and anytime either of you want to talk, PM me. xoxox pat
