Well - I went to the podiatrist today and I have a very large bone spur on my right heel. This could account for the pain in my hip and leg due to walking funny. So, he gave me a cortisone injection and we will see how it goes. I see him in six weeks. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that this helps and gets me off the cane!!

I did - but I ignored it because I thought the pain in my hip was so much worse.

It started a year ago. I wear earth shoes only and I wore a "regular" pair of shoes for 2 days and the pain started. Then it kept coming and going. Basically it's when I get up in the morning and put my foot on the floor - you can barely stand because your heal hurts.

The chiro. told me to roll my foot over a tennis ball and it breaks it up - so I did. It was painful but it had been working so I never bothered telling any doctor about it. One answer :)
