Hi all.

Good for you for self care Christina. Man oh man do I hear you about fronts moving through! Glad you are okay from tornado.

Funny story on myself related to recent storms. A wicked storm went through here Thursday night. The weather alarm went off on my phone in the wee hours of the morning. I think I've posted about how exhausted I am. Alarm went off and I rolled over, pulled the covers up and went back to sleep. I figured if I was gonna die I could do it just as well in my sleep.

Well we have been in the 60’s and raining for well over a week only one day was half dry.

Well last night wicked storms came blowing through and another tornado in town, had one just a tad over a week ago!! This is madness.

So far no deaths reported, a dairy farm was destroyed, many homes damaged some unlivable, cars totaled, trees down, entire town had no power , I think it’s been mostly restored now thankfully

So over a week of 60’s and it will be 20 by morning and feel like 10

My body is very unhappy

My husband has his MRI’s and angiogram tomorrow so I’m very stressed.

Breathe dummy !!

Gentle hugs ~

Howdy @lizardlady & @~Christina ...

Here's a link to pics & vids I shot on today's little road trip to purchase the firewood I like to burn in my stove.

Really love those two pflower shots!

Hope y'all's Saturday was fairly decent; and, I hope I'm wore out enough from mine that I sleep like a rock tonight!

Thanks for this!

Pain in my hips and knees has me close to tears today. It's arthritis, not fibro. Some times moving helps lessen the pain. Went out and played in my garden. Didn't work.

A weather front has draped itself across the middle of Georgia and is just sitting there!

It's cold and rainy and everything hurts!

We might get snow from that mess .. stay dry Pfrog.

Today I realized I can’t remember a single day that my Fibro pain has eased in months and months. I’m just always stuck at a 6.5 and flare to a 9 where I literally can barely talk a semi deep breath.

Horrible horrible illness

Got about 4 inches, got an emergency appt for my husband with Neurologist so we had to go out. It’s a long windy road for about 20 mins to get to a actually road that should have been treated, slow trip into town.

Was glad to get back home.

Glad you had a safe journey to and from hubby's appointment, @~Christina!

Navigating in that stuff isn't fun on a smooth straight road, can't even imagine what it's like on twisty-turny ones!

Gentle hugs for all of us dealing with all this chronic pain crap!

WILMA DRINKING WATER I POURED FOR HER (02.21.2020)

I've done a lot of Ladybug research these past few days and am delighted to have Wilma Wintering in The Cozy Cottage with me and Betty the Orchid. Come Spring I will release her into the garden so she can spend the rest of her life cycle getting fat on aphids, mites and other garden pests! Hopefully she'll reproduce and one of her offspring will find their way to Betty and me next Winter.

Aw, pfrog, Wilma is cute. Thank you for sharing your home with her.

I didn't know you grew orchids. A friend gave me one for Christmas several years ago. Now I have 16 of them. Including baby from another.

16 Orchids! ... Wow!

I'm not that good yet @lizardlady!

I bought "Betty" for a dollar a little over a year ago. She came in a small container and was labeled as a Tea Cup Orchid.

I named her after the lady (Elizabeth) in the flower shop that sold her to me.

I researched what they like and transplanted her into a BIG cereal bowl.

I used a little bit of dirt, debris and wood chips from the woodpile out back.

She's already bloomed twice for me so I feel right lucky there.

Bet you can guess why I named the ladybug Wilma now.

I hope the Flintstones don't mind!

Thanks for this!
